We are all safely in Nairobi after long but uneventful flights! We had no immigration issues and only got hit for $70 for all the gifts and goods we brought with us. PTL! Thanks go to Tom Wolff for his great negotiating skills with the customs agents, who try to extract as much as they can from each and every passenger. We were blessed to have gotten off so lightly. In previous instances, we paid as much as $130 extra for a single item.

With the hustle and bustle to get through immigration and customs, we didn't take time for a team picture. But rest assured, everyone is doing well and in good spirits.  I'll get some pictures up as soon as we hit a rest stop.

We were met right outside the terminal by Bill & Chat Coble, Rufus, Happy James, Paul and Fred, and others with Start With One Kenya (SWOK).  We are loaded into five vans and Bill's pickup, with the pickup and one of the vans crammed full of our gear. We got on the road by 4:10 pm local time (we're 7 hours ahead of Eastern time) and are on our way to Nakuru.  I'll update again once we arrive and I've gotten some sleep in the van (for the first time in 24 hours!)..
